And it’s a wrap!
What.
An.
Event.

From 20th Sep to 24th Sep, Upstream created a nexus for founders, investors, students, policymakers and bold corporates to make a positive impact in the world.

Superconnectors – created a buzz during the finale and how!

When Founders are in a do-or-die situation, and making it big is not an option but a necessity, they often sweep the mistakes under the carpet. That impedes the learning culture because learning from failures is the surest way of advancing to the next level.

We need to normalise talking about challenges and that was the core of Superconnectors!

(Isn’t Stadshaven Brouwerij one kickass of a location?)

We gathered a group of dynamic founders, to speak about their challenges with a group of Superconnectors which consisted of the city’s policymakers, investors, and bold corporates of Rotterdam.

It was a 3-step game:

1. Each Founder gets 5 minutes to talk about their challenges

2. Superconnectors would share the names (contacts) that could help the founders with challenges. (Seeing the Superconnectors raise their paddle number was the most exciting part of this event :D)
3. Out of all those that offered help, Founders get to pick the top 3, most relevant Superconnectors

This not only led to leveraging personal contacts but also a good learning for Founders to seek help for their challenges. The impact was humongous:

Post-event we conducted a survey within Founders and Superconnectors. We had a whopping 70 NPS score! That’s crazyyyyy!

Superconnectors also shared their interest to be a part of such events once every 3 months. A few big names in Europe shared their interest to do similar events in Europe. With this in mind, we are working on making a blueprint for this event. Can’t wait for you to see the blast at Superconnectors 2.0. 🙂
